My name is Taina Madera, and I’m a Licensed Social Worker and Coordinator for the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP). The RAPP program aims to focus on the prevention of intimate partner violence, provide advocacy and healing for survivors and children impacted by abusive partner behaviors, as well as offer training and education to help increase awareness of gender-based violence.

As a RAPP Coordinator at TAFT, my services include:

• providing counseling services to students

• providing group counseling to students

• presenting workshops to classes on teen relationship abuse, sexual violence & consent, healthy relationships, and more!

• joining occasional staff meetings

• supporting staff through workshops and professional development trainings

• supporting parents through workshops
